I discovered that my right headlight cover was cloudy. I’d never seen this before on any of my previous cars. At my regular oil change on a Friday in October, at the auto shop they said to replace the entire headlight. I made an appointment, even though it was $213, eek! By Monday, I canceled. It just felt to me there must be a way to simply clean the cover.
That week I needed my furnace repaired, and the week after a plumbing repair (benefits of home ownership). Together, the cost was exactly $213. Somehow, some part of me knew.
Another two weeks later, I took my car to a super drive-thru car wash, for the full gloss (before winter, so snow slides off with little effort). At the pay counter, I saw their sign for “headlight restoration $60.” Oh, my! There it was. THE answer. THE solution.
I had never gotten around to my planned research. I had forgotten, again, this was not procrastination but intuitive waiting for the opportune answer to present itself. I had questioned, waited. NOW it was clear. Now I knew what to do. No hesitation.
I process everything this way. AND it always works out. It’s kind of amazing. I LOVE these quirky little “miracles” (of the Intuitive Mind).
So, the lesson for me, again: Always trust my gut — that savvy inner sense always knows what to do — and somehow senses there is a better outcome . . . if I just wait for it.
Wait for it . . . wait for it . . . wait for it . . . Ah! There it is!
