How Do We Thrive?
Daily meditation has helped me to keep calm and also focused. Most important has been connecting with Higher Self (soul) through a daily ritual of communion. (Step 1 “How Do We Find Our Inner Peace.”)
I wear quartz crystals when I meditate, the same ones as when I channel-write as well as when I do readings. (The soul-consciousness connection works even if you don’t have or wear crystals. What matters most is your attention.) I sense that the crystals draw in the higher energy and enhance the vibration, more easily.
I deep breath to get into the deeper bonding, and continue it throughout. I use my nose to inhale and exhale through the mouth. This allows me to breathe more deeply. This deep breathing is actually the substantive tool for going deeper and deeper into the soul consciousness. You feel yourself drifting (away from full conscious attention). You feel a deepening calm, and clarity. The breath is the key. It almost feels like a form of self-hypnosis, except into enhanced awareness.
I clasp my palms together initially (or as often as it fee
ls natural). At some point, I close my hands, fingers interwoven, still clasping. On both of these, I am finding a stronger magnetic attraction between the palms when I hook my thumbs over each other. Palms together enhances the soul bond, and the clasping may increase in intensity on its own. Keep in mind, your body-consciousness feels what to do, because it is instinctively drawn to this magnetic enhancement. You feel a charge in your body, between the palms, all through you. Getting stronger and more powerful in each deep breath (regular rhythm, focused).
Feet flat on the ground (floor), to ground you.
The breath is the key to going deeper into your soul consciousness. Breathe into your forehead, focus into your forehead—to see, to know.
Another tool I use, because I have a busy mind, is to focus on a mantra. To me, this is statements (whatever comes to mind). Of many (over 18), the first I use is, “I am still.” Or, “I am still and aware.” I stay with this for as long as I need, to feel a deepening connection; such as body shivers, or mind coming to a point of focus, any definitive change in how the body and/or mind feels—stronger. This usually takes a few minutes.
Step 2 point of focus:
* Soul’s consciousness in its place.
For this, I feel the divine consciousness imbue me, my whole body, my whole being and mind, surrounding me. I imagine it. I visualize it. This makes it real. This is what brings it in. This is how we bring to us the soul force, the soul power, the soul awareness.
We imagine it, visualize it—to feel it. This takes several minutes, as long as it takes. Stay with it. And stay with this full Step for 30 to 40 days before going on to Step 3 (given later). This builds your bond with your soul consciousness—which is your Higher Self (and may take you into your Oversoul Consciousness at some point, as it did for me; it is available to all of us). P.S.
Remind me in December (before/about Christmas/New Year) (send Comment, Like this post, email me directly, or Tweet me!) and I will give you Step 3, which I have been using since July 1993. (This was nine months of dutifully deep-meditating before I suddenly shifted to the next level I didn’t know was there—Monad or I Am Consciousness, above Oversoul/Higher Self, when I then wrote five books in the next six months, all of which have won multiple book awards, taking perfect dictation from inner voice for all of them, only needing proofreading.) I have been using all of the Steps from Djwhal Khul since then—to get there.
This is how I cope with stress, and also find my way. These moments in attunement calm me, center me, ground me; and also clear my mind and give me new ideas (like I need more to do).
The best part is feeling connected. I usually get a buzz, or chills, by the end at least; but sometimes not. I do always feel better emotionally. I do feel connected, to something. There is also a deep sense of reverence—for life, for all.
With soul consciousness, imbued through daily meditating (15-30 minutes, on average) comes a heart filling with gratitude and a desire to be involved in the world, to be kinder, more patient.
All the qualities we seek more of in ourselves, to be smarter, to be braver—it is all inside us . . . and we discover it and grow it through meditating—which opens our soul consciousness.
*The steps I use are modified from Ascended Master Djwhal Khul of the Spiritual Hierarchy, received through Alice Bailey, published in the book Discipleship In the New Age, volume I, pp. 364-365, 367-394.
