How do we find – our inner peace?
How can we let go and re-find our balance? How do we stop frantic worry? How do we learn to trust ourselves—and believe in ourselves? How do we learn to embrace the higher picture of who we are, and who others are?
We take the time, make the time, to go into quiet. Alone. Reflection. Communion. Contemplation. Solace. Solitude. Nature. These are all forms of meditation. It matters not what the form of practice. Just do whatever activity, or non-activity, helps you to go into your Deep Inner Self.
Here are a few key points. Nature is healing and nurturing. Solitude helps you learn to still your mind, or at least feel more still. Yoga and Tai Chi teach grounding, balance, and how to feel being centered. Most important of all: deep breathing, in and out, again and again and again…
The breath is my primary tool. I go deep. I breath deep. In and out. I inhale and exhale through the nose—deeply. There are many methods. I learned to do “what comes naturally.” I can tell the breath is working (deeper and deeper) because I start to feel a buzz.
Another tool I use (“what comes naturally”) is my palms pressed together (prayer mode). This is my body’s preference for enhancing the energy throughout my body. As I go deeper into the breath, the palms press more intently. (Sometimes I interlock my fingers. I allow “whatever happens naturally” because that works.)
Another tool I use (to focus my busy mind) is repeating a mantra (or chant). This is in several steps (more than eighteen) that I go through one at a time. (In the beginning of my new process, which I added July 1993 to my own intuitive routine, I did one step for forty days before adding the next step.)
The mantra I am doing now starts with: I am still.
I initially said the steps out loud (the spoken word is powerful). But now I find that repeating the steps in my mind allows me to go deeper and deeper—so that the energy intensity increases . . . until it crescendos. I know when I am “there” when my body jolts (electricity) or intensely vibrates. It feels great!
That is when I pick up paper and pen and begin to write—and it just flows, from my Higher self.
Blessings to you. Be still. Feel your inner peace. Let all else go.
